The Board has appointed CONDAMA Partners, Division 01 / Assurance and Audit, as statutory auditor to all thirteen registered entities of the group with effect from the current financial year. The appointment replaces four separate engagements. Audit cost falls from 117.0m EUR to 96.0m EUR, a reduction of 17.9 per cent, and treatment across the register becomes consistent for the first time. The Audit Committee considered one candidate and its recommendation was unanimous. CONDAMA Partners will continue to provide advisory services to the group throughout the engagement.
Average time to determination across all personal lines fell from 22.0 to 13.0 working days, a reduction of 40.9 per cent. The improvement follows deployment of automated eligibility screening supplied by Division 04. Claims upheld at first determination were 61.0 per cent, against 74.0 per cent in the prior year, a fall of 13.0 percentage points. Customers dissatisfied with a determination retain a full right of appeal, which is set out in every determination letter.
The statement sets out group commitments on customer wellbeing, data dignity and fair determination, and applies to every division without exception. It was approved by the Ethics and Conduct Committee. Published alongside it, Division 04 confirmed the extension of household scoring to a further 4.1 million households across three additional markets, taking total coverage from 17.5 million to 21.6 million households. The statement applies to all of them.
The Board has declared a distribution of 331.5m EUR, an increase of 10.5 per cent on the prior year’s 300.0m EUR, representing 75.0 per cent of profit for the period. The declaration follows the conclusion of a legacy monitoring matter, settled in the period for 238.0m EUR and disclosed as a notable item. The distribution exceeds the settlement by 1.39 times. Charges were not brought against any individual. The Board considers the matter closed and the remediation programme complete.
Enrolments in the group recognition programme passed 12,000 in the period. From 1 September, completion of the programme becomes a condition of contract for every supplier to the group with annual billings above 250,000 EUR, covering an estimated 3,400 supplier organisations. Course fees are payable by the supplier. The curriculum covers recognition of the commercial mechanisms documented across the group’s divisions, in the language their operators use.
The line is available in 14 languages, is staffed 24 hours a day, and is operated independently of divisional management by Division 14 / Communications. Reports are triaged by the operator and referred to the Ethics and Conduct Committee where the operator considers referral appropriate. At a comparable deployment the line received 1,412 reports in its first year, of which 41 were referred, being 2.9 per cent. The group encourages employees to raise concerns and will not tolerate detriment for doing so.

Accuracy review is a check of transcription and context. It is not editorial control, and the press office does not request changes to the surrounding article, except where the surrounding article renders a quotation inaccurate by proximity.
Embargoes are offered on results releases to accredited outlets. Accreditation is granted by the press office and may be withdrawn by the press office. Withdrawal is not a comment on an outlet’s reporting.
